MISSION STATEMENT

MIG 9499 endeavours to jointly invest in agreed development projects mainly in Zimbabwe and abroad for the purpose of generating profits or other lawful rewards for its members, and to engage in appropriate legal activities to generate resources for the growth of the investment funds.

PRINCIPAL OBJECTIVES

a) To identify and implement investment projects jointly, taking advantage of the power of numbers in pooling resources.

b) To broaden and deepen the knowledge and skills base among all the Association’s stakeholders.

c) To support and promote each other’s business ventures.

d) To create a platform for re-union and continued networking.

OBJECTS OF THE ASSOCIATION

The objects of the Association shall be;

a) To liaise with relevant organizations and agencies to further the objects of the Association.

b) To accept any gift, bequest, real or personal property whether subject to a special trust or not for any one or more objects of the Association.

c) To raise money by public subscription and any other means as may, from time to time, be approved by the General Assembly within the law guiding the conduct of associations. Such monies are to be expended on achieving the objectives of the Association.

d) To purchase, take on lease or in exchange, hire or otherwise acquire any real or personal property or any rights or privileges, which the Association may consider necessary or convenient.

e) To sell, exchange, lease mortgage, hire, dispose of, or turn to account, or otherwise deal with all or any part of the real and personal property of the Association. 

f) To print, publish leaflets or other documents or advertise by any medium including electronic media as the Association deems necessary to promote the objects of the Association.

g) To open and keep one or more bank accounts in the name of the Association.

h) To appoint, employ and pay full time, part time, permanent, temporary officers, employees and workers of the Association as required by the exigencies of the situation.

i) To suspend or dismiss full time, part time, permanent, temporary employees of the Association, as necessary and in compliance with the applicable laws.

j) To arrange, maintain and pay any insurance on all or any of the property of the Association as the Association may deem fit and necessary from time to time.

k) To rescind, vary, execute and do all acts, deeds, and things as may be necessary, incidental, or conducive to the attainment of the objectives of the Association.
